Chillin’ at the Mills Winter Festival January 16, 2010

Chillin’ at the Mills Winter Festival, will be held on Saturday, January 16, 11 am to 2 pm at Hudson Mills Metropark near Dexter/Ann Arbor. A variety of fun-filled winter activities, including cross-country skiing, Klondike racing and dog sledding demos are just some of the activities being offered (activities are subject to change, depending on weather conditions). After trying all the activities, kids and their parents may warm up at the Activity Center with hot chocolate, and make a craft to take home. This is a family and scout festival. Junior Girl Scouts can earn the Frosty Fun badge and Brownies can earn the Outdoor Adventure Try-it. An event patch is available for $1.50 each. Call (734) 426-8211 to purchase tickets. Tickets are $2 per person or $6 per person, with lunch. A vehicle entry permit is required to enter Hudson Mills Metropark and is only $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors, or $5 daily.
