Besito (1516 Old Northern Blvd., Roslyn, NY 11576, (516) 484-3001, 402 New York Ave., Huntington, NY 11743, (631) 549-0100, 46 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107, (860) 233-2500) has announced their first Chile Festival beginning Monday, March 7th. Each week three new a la carte specials, highlighting a specific chile will be offered. The specials will continue through the April 3rd. The weekly specials, which change each Monday, are as follows:

*Week 1 Chile Ancho
Appetizer: Chile ancho relleno de Jaiba-
Stuffed ancho chile with jumbo lump crab served with a cilantro cream sauce $12

Entrée 1: Enchiladas Pato en Ancho-
Long island duck enchiladas, baked in an ancho chile adobo & seasoned with avocado leaf $24

Entrée 2: Piscado en pipian rojo-
Roasted red snapper with an ancho chile pipian & a warm vegetable escabche $28

*Week 2 Chile Habanero
Appetizer: Toastadas carnitas con rajas y habanero-
Pork carnitas tostadas with habanero rajas & salsa verde cruda $11

Entrée 1: Camarones con tequila Y habanero-
Tequila and habanero glazed shrimp over mashed plantains, served with a roasted tomato & mango pico $26

Entrée 2: Enchiladas mole de borrego-
Two soft corn tortillas filled with shredded lamb shank, seasoned with yucatecan achiote paste. Baked in a roasted tomato & epazote salsa $25

*Week 3 Chile Chipotle
Appetizer: Empanadas picadillo de res-
Masa turnovers filled with beef picadillo. Served with a chipotle quemado salsa $11

Entrée 1: Pescado con chipotle y crema-
Tortilla & herb crusted sea bass served with chipotle cream, roasted potato & chorizo budin $28

Entrée 2: Bistec al chipotle -
Chiptole marinated hanger steak, grilled and served with nopales, roasted corn & green onions $25

*Week 4 Chile Serrano
Appetizer: Callos y mojo Serrano-
Seared sea scallops, sweet corn puree & Serrano chile mojo $13

Entrée 1: enchiladas mariscos verdes-
Two soft corn tortillas filled with shrimp, red snapper & bay scallops. Baked in a tomatillo & Serrano chile salsa. Topped with sliced avacado & pickled white onion $24

Entrée 2: Mole verde oaxaqueno-
Roasted pork tenderloin served over mashed white beans and baked in a oaxaquan mole verde $26
