Childrens Shoebox Boat Regatta July 4, 2008

Children will get the opportunity to race boats they make from a shoe box in
a kit that the museum sells for $1.50. Prizes are awarded in three age
categories. Kits may be purchases ahead of time at the Museum. Registration will be open until after the Art Amanda and races will start at 4:00 pm. The museum will be open after the parade until the completion of the boat regatta. The museum will also provide face painting at Deland park on July 5th.
