At “Light vs Dark: Stamps & Collectibles” exhibition, be amazed with an impressive display of “Star Wars” stamps from the Singapore Philatelic Museum’s collection and over 2,000 memorabilia and collectibles on loan from private collectors. Highlights include Singapore Post MyStamp featuring the movie characters, stamps from USA, a breathtaking display of the iconic “Emperor’s Arrival Scene” featuring over 800 figurines, R2-D2 miniature USA postboxes and over 900 unique movie action figures. Come dressed as any character from the trilogies and have your picture taken with the Stormtroopers!

Did you know that there are about 3,000 species of snakes in the world? Find out interesting facts and myths of this scaly but not slimy creature at “Snakes and Ladders” children’s exhibition. The exhibition is held in conjunction with the zodiac year of the Snake.

Touch, feel and smell spices and find out interesting trivia about spices at “Spice Is Nice” exhibition. You can discover voyages of discovery, spice trade, colonisation, migration pattern, life in early Singapore and traditional cures at the exhibition.

“This is the holiday programme you’re looking for…” Join us this June holiday for an out-of-the-world space adventure programme that spans across an exciting show of action figures, model spaceships, costumes and stamps! Dress up as your favourite character from the movies and bring your best loved action toy for a show and tell to win museum tokens. Participants will get to hunt for philatelic treasures and work on a special craft.

• Night At The Museum

Check-in at the Singapore Philatelic Museum for a night of discovery, games and craft! Participants will get to meet new friends, learn to work together as a team, find out about the ‘King of Hobbies” and have the rare opportunity to sleep among stamps!
Sleepovers are great developmental opportunities for children to build their social skills and explore their independence.
Dinner, supper and breakfast will be provided. Items to bring include; sleeping bag, jacket, pyjamas, fresh change of clothing and toiletries.

• The Spice Trail
Date & Time: Wednesday, 19 June, 10.00am – 12.00pm
Friday, 21 June, 10.00am – 12.00pm
Age: 7-12 years
Charge: $15 per child

Visit Spice Is Nice galleries and learn about explorers, spice merchants, wet markets and festival food. Then go on a walking trail to Fort Canning Park to discover interesting facts about spices. Then create a special spice craft.
