Positioned as an entry point to understanding Singapore’s history and heritage, Children’s Season 2012 – Island Adventures promises to be fun and meaningful by making Singapore’s history come alive. Island Adventures will have thoughtfully-designed programming and child-friendly interactive showcases on selected weekends, bringing a whole new level of experience for children, parents, educators and everyone young at heart.

Co-curated with award-winning playwright Chong Tze Chien (The Finger Players) and designed by local designers Lin Shuxian and Jonathan Yue (Gosh Design), Island Adventures incorporates elements of storytelling and interactive displays, where participants will find out what it was like to travel on a ship to an island called Singapura 200 years ago, and learn how Singapore has changed and developed over the years into the modern city it is today. So come on board, be an adventurous traveller, and take part in this educational and memorable journey with us!

Free admission for children under 3 years old (excludes educational materials)
