The Russian Tea Room, one of New York City’s most iconic restaurants offers a children’s hot chocolate and tea that is sophisticated yet child-friendly in its famously magical setting…WONDERFUL for a holiday outing or birthday party!
Drawing on the tastes of his own children, Chef Marc Taxiera has created an under-12 menu of gourmet kiddie fare favorites like peanut butter and jelly on blini and tiny pigs in a blanket, in addition to traditional tea sandwiches, all arranged on a triple-tiered platter. Desserts include crisp apple slices with creamy caramel and red velvet cupcakes with sprinkles, any little foodie’s dream come true!
A selection of decaffeinated tea runs the gamut from Raspberry Zinger to Lotus Green but the hands down favorite with children is The Russian Tea Room’s Signature Hauté Chocolate served with whipped cream and marshmallows – the perfect sweet treat to accompany the kid-friendly fare.
The Children’s Tea is $25 per person and the restaurant will also host tea parties – great for a children’s birthday party!
