Children’s film festival from February 18 February 17, 2008

Children’s India, Bangalore, is organising a four-day national children’s film festival in Bangalore, Mangalore, Hassan and Davangere starting from February 18.

This festival would be held in 11 cinemas in these four cities, including four in Bangalore, three in Hassan and two each in Mangalore and in Davangere. Entry is absolutely free for school children.

The festival would be inaugurated at B. R. Ambedkar Bhavan in Bangalore at 11 a.m. on February 18. The organisation, set up in 2005, first organised international children’s film festival in Bangalore in that year and followed it up with a similar effort in 2007 in Bangalore and Mysore.

This event is being supported by Big 92.7 FM as the Radio Partner (in Bangalore, Mysore & Mangalore) with on air promotions and live links from the venue.
