You may already know about child support guideline calculations. Maybe you’ve heard about formulas to help you figure out how much spousal support you might pay or receive. But how do you figure out whether you’ll have enough after paying or receiving support to make ends meet this year? Or next year? Or after retirement?
In this class led by a mediator who is also an attorney and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, you’ll see how you can do the guideline calculations yourself. Using financial projection software, you’ll see the effects of labeling child support as “spousal support.” And you’ll see examples of support solutions that sounded good on paper but were problematic down the road.
