Chico Pride Fest June 7, 2008

Annual Pride Event: "Barbecue at the Park Tower Pride 2008" This year’s daytime event features a barbecue with food being prepared by Stonewall Youth Alliance (SAY). Rube and the Rhythm Rockers will provide live entertainment for listening and dancing. There will be a Silent Auction and vendors, including Cloud Nine with all your Pride needs.

Entrance to this year’s Mini-Fest will be a $5.00 donation with the proceeds going to future Pride events. SAY’s barbecue will be $4.00 a plate and is a fundraiser for their organization. Time for the daytime Mini-Fest is from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Those under 18 admitted free. Children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.

The Pride Dance with live DJ follows at the same location from 8:00 to midnight. Donation for the dance is $10.00 at the door. Discount dance bracelets may be purchased at the daytime Mini-Fest for $5.00.
