About The Squeaky Wheel Tour
We want to let you know about The Squeaky Wheel Tour (or SWT). If you're reading or hearing about this, you're either on our website at 411Gina.org or you've been to a concert, read a newspaper or magazine article, watched a webcast, or heard about us through word of mouth. There are many ways you could have heard of SWT, and all of those are pivotal events that have the power to bring a missing person home.

SWT is a grass roots effort to gain attention for hundreds of missing childen and adults whose disappearances do not have the scandal, intrigue, or national appeal to garner the attention of the public. This is an amazing opportunity that we have right here and right now to gain public attention for the missing, which will in turn create momentum and hope for us all.

The Squeaky Wheel starts here. . .with me, with you. . .we have the power to make a difference both individually and collectively. We are the families of the missing, the artists and communities who care about the missing, the non-for-profit organizations dedicated to the missing, and the media who sees that attention is needed to bring someone home.

October 17- November 4 19 days . . . 150 events . . . Hundreds of artists banding together in nearly all 50 states and eight countries. . . all to focus attention on over 150 missing people, and to bring one home.

Singer-songwriter Gina Bos disappeared on October 17, 2000 after performing at a pub in Nebraska. Gina's story has no scandal or suspects, no hook needed to get national attention. Gina just vanished.

In 2001, Gina’s sister, singer-songwriter Jannel Rap organized GINA, bringing together recording artists from all over the country in an effort to raise awareness of all the people who go missing every year.

GINA’s mission is to bring together media agencies and artists that create an avenue of hope and awareness that can guild people whose family members become missing.

GINA's goal is to uncover "missing pieces to find the missing." By opening their hearts and doors, major recording artists and sponsors are promoting an ongoing effort of raising awareness of the missing while being a bridge to all forms of media.
