Chicago Sinfonietta: Paul Freeman, Conductor August 22, 2008

The Chicago Sinfonietta makes their Millennium Park debut, in conjunction with the Adler Planetarium. The evening will feature Ulysses Kay's 'Theater Set for Orchestra' and Argentinean-born Alberto Ginastera's 'Estancia: Four Dances,' but the highlight will be the return of their acclaimed performance of Holst's 'The Planets' with stunning visual clips of the cosmos created by Adler astronomer and visual artist Dr. Jose Francisco Salgado. The performance will also feature vocals by the Anima-Young Singers of Greater Chicago.
