Jonathan Genzen shares images from his recent book, The Chicago River: A History in Photographs. Genzen researched hundreds of historical images of the Chicago River from libraries, historical collections, newspapers, and private photographers. He explores the visual history of the Chicago River and the importance of this amazing waterway in the development of Chicago.
