Designed to intensify the psychological state of Carmen, Brook's adaptation focuses solely on the four main characters. Chicago Opera Theater Resident Conductor Alexander Platt, who led such COT triumphs as 'Nixon in China' and 'Death in Venice,' teams with Andrew Eggert who makes his directorial debut with the company.
