Chicago Children's Theatre is proud to present the World Premier of 'Jackie and Me' a follow-up to the hit 2007 production of 'Honus and Me,' adapted by Steven Dietz from the novel by Dan Gutman and directed by Jeff Award winner Derrick Sanders. In 'Jackie and Me' Joey Stoshack has to write a report on an African American who's made an important contribution to society. Using his special ability, Joe decides to go back to meet one of history's greatest baseball players, Jackie Robinson, the man who broke baseball's color barrier. Joe plans on writing a prize-winning report, but doesn't plan on a trip that will forever change his view of history and his definition of courage.
