INVITE for Ethnic Media & #Nonprofits: What will the Chicago Budget mean for your community panel discussion?

FREE EVENT

Monday, November 14th from 9AM to 11AM

Will your community get its fair share from Chicago's new budget? How does the budget treat your community, your neighborhood, and organizations?

A panel of experts will discuss the new budget and how it impacts our communities. We'll also talk about the economic problems of Chicago communities -
and the reason why some communities need more help then others. We are partnering with the Grassroots Collaborative in this effort to give the facts and
their meanings to the ethnic news media. You will leave knowing the questions you need to ask about the budget and what data to use.

Panelists Include:

Amisha Patel (Grassroots Collaborative,)

Michael Brunson (Chicago Teachers Union)

A representative of SEIU73,

A representative of STOP- Southside Together Organizing for Power, and Jennifer Clary (Social Impact Research Center of the Heartland Alliance)
