WHO:

ABOUT HAASTYLE

Haastyle is the visual art of Nick Haas and the writing of Nate Winter. In 2005, they created Haastyle in Chicago when Haas’s unique artistic perspective on the city began to emerge—Haas creating the art and Winter writing to promote it. The art’s gritty, urban subject matter proved popular among city dwellers and businesses, as well as commercial clients, who ask for custom designs within Haas’s unique style to promote their products. Haastyle has exhibited digital collage art and photography in Chicago and Los Angeles and had its work featured in local Chicago media and a motion picture credit sequence. Haastyle’s complete portfolio of art and commercial work are available at www.Haastyle.com.

ABOUT NICK HAAS

“The urban environment fascinates me. I love everyday objects—buildings, power lines, cars, train tracks—for their complexity and functionality. We co-exist with them, yet take them for granted and they go unnoticed. We interact with these objects everyday, but overlook the role they play in defining the city's appearance and behavior. This idea inspires much of my artwork.” -- Nick Haas
