chiarOscuro is a unique nightclub experience featuring alternative dance
music spun on two dancefloors by a rotating lineup of 12 diverse local and
national deejays every Saturday night at the Edge Nightclub in Washington DC.

The Lounge has reopened for the fall and winter... expect down tempo, obscure, post punk, alternative pop, and all kinds of other great off the beaten dance floor path music. Hear exceptional new bands like Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Radio 4, Kasabian, The Bravery, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand and others. This is some of the best new music to come out in ages. We'll be mixing it in with your favorite classics to aid your
conversational mood.

Check out The Symposium and Eclectic Lounge at chiarOscuro
(hours: 11pm-2:30am) where you can relax in our comfortable couches and
play cards or take in a game of chess to a more diverse musical selection
at conversational volumes, home to special showcase events check the
chiarOscuro calendar. Our patio opens at 11pm so that you may enjoy
the fresh air.

chiarOscuro is closing. Due to several staff members moving on
to pursue other projects, the decision has been made to close
chiarOscuro. We appreciate the decision of the patron to chose
our club for their Saturday night entertainment consistently over
the last two years and welcome you to celebrate in our ending bash
on December 17th, 2005
