chiarOscuro, a unique nightclub experience featuring alternative dance
music spun on two dancefloors by a rotating lineup of 12 diverse local and
national deejays, ends its Saturday night run at the Edge Nightclub in Washington DC this Saturday.

Opening in September of 2003 it has held over 100 parties for over the
last two years and has hosted guest DJs from across the nation in
addition to such bands as The Azoic, Ego Likeness, Thou Shalt Not,
The Opposite Sex & Voltaire.

This Saturday will feature sets from all of our resident DJs as well
as returning original resident maso! There will be a staff and
crowd photoshoot on the stage on the main dancefloor at midnight.
This is an event you don't want to miss!

chiarOscuro tshirts will be available (while supplies last) @
the front door, through the cashier, for $10.00 each!

The Lounge has reopened for the fall and winter... expect down tempo, obscure, post punk, alternative pop, and all kinds of other great off the beaten dance floor path music. Hear exceptional new bands like Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Radio 4, Kasabian, The Bravery, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand and others. This is some of the best new music to come out in ages. We'll be mixing it in with your favorite classics to aid your
conversational mood.

Check out The Symposium and Eclectic Lounge at chiarOscuro
(hours: 10pm-2:30am) where you can relax in our comfortable couches and
play cards or take in a game of chess to a more diverse musical selection
at conversational volumes, home to special showcase events check the
chiarOscuro calendar. Our patio opens at 10pm so that you may enjoy
the fresh air.
