CHHAU DANCE WORKSHOP

A great opportunity for Actors, Dancers, Mime artists, performers and people who wish to discover the inner emotions and themes through cadences of body flexions, movements and kinetic suggestions of Chhau dance.
The world of chhau dance is the world of poetry… poetry of movements.

Chhau has become popular as a very strong base for choreography, and stylized movements with its wide range of postures and movements that adapt well to modern as well as traditional treatments.

Conducted by Sri Govind Mahato : an international performer, trained under late Guru LingarajAcharya, Guru Shashadhar Acharya and Sukant Kumar Acharya in Seraikella Chhau.
