Chez Nous: Christmas With Elektra December 2, 2006

Elektra Women’s Choir and co-directors Morna Edmundson and Diane Loomer launch their twentieth season with Chez Nous: Christmas With Elektra. This holiday concert features the luminous beauty of Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, as well as the premieres of works by Vancouver composers Stephen Smith and Rupert Lang. Superbly sung music, holiday-themed stories, festive décor, treats for the children, and a chance to sing along to a favourite carol or two all combine to make Chez Nous an unforgettable launch to the Christmas season.
