This acoustic jam is hosted by local musician Terry Howard and sponsored by Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts. It kicks off on Sunday, February 15, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Performance Hall of Chestnut Center.
Musicians young and old, at all levels of musical ability, are welcome to participate in ChestnutJAM Unplugged on the third Sunday of each month, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Host Terry Howard describes the jam as “classic rock and roll, bluegrass and country music, with all-acoustic instrumentation.” ChestnutJAM Unplugged will offer musicians the opportunity to enjoy and learn from each other and to hone their musical skills. A microphone will be available for vocals, and Howard strongly encourages use of the mic as an important tool for vocalists. In addition, a piano will be on site.
Spectators, friends and family are welcome to attend; ChestnutJAM Unplugged is free to everyone. Remember, it's always from 1– 4pm on the third Sunday of each month. (Please note that during Holiday seasons the Jam often takes a month off. Call the office if you're not sure)
