Chess is a rock musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, formerly of ABBA. The story involves a romantic triangle between two players in a world chess championship, and a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other. Although the protagonists were not intended to represent any specific individuals, the characters' personalities are loosely based on those of Victor Korchnoi and Bobby Fischer.

Rarely performed, CHESS features a challenging score which requires a large cast of extremely talented vocalists, which Turtle Lane has been fortunate to acquire. Hit songs include: "One Night in Bangkok" and "I Know Him So Well".

The show will be presented cabaret-style, with table seating and food and beverages served, including a full bar. Some proceeds will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation.

Turtle Lane offers handicapped-accessibility, free parking, a full bar and is easily reached from the Mass Pike, Route 128 and the T. We feature a live orchestra and design our own sets and costumes.

The show runs February 1- March 2, with shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. Senior, Student, Group and other discounts are available.

$25.00 - $27.50.
