There has never been a family or a bluegrass band quite like Cherryholmes. Parents Jere (bass) and Sandy Lee (mandolin) Cherryholmes and children Cia (banjo), B.J. (fiddle), Skip (guitar), and Molly (fiddle) began their musical journey in 1999, and all six family band members pull their creative ideas together, forming a dynamic sound and style that is unmistakable: aggressive vocals and instrumentation combined in smooth harmony. Their concerts feature a unique blend of techniques including twin fiddles, Irish step-dancing, classic country yodeling, old-time clawhammer banjo, and soulful gospel singing in addition to their signature Grammy-nominated bluegrass.
