The play directed by Ram Ji Bali is based on an imaginary story woven around the love between Charudatta and Vasantsena. Charudatta, a businessman with a deep love and appreciation of the arts, fall in love with the beautiful courtesan Vasantsena, who reciprocates his feelings. To complicate matters, the Kings' brother-in-law, Shakaar also falls in love with her.
