Charlotte Speed Demons vs. Sumter Fly Girls (WOMEN'S ROLLER DERBY) August 11, 2012

Experience the fastest growing sport in person. The Charlotte Speed Demons women’s roller derby team host the Sumter (SC) Fly Girls.

The Speed Demons are part of the movement to develop roller derby into a professional level sport with an eye on inclusion in the Olympic Games. They are also featured in Derby Baby!, a roller derby film narrated by actress Juliette Lewis and scheduled for a summer release.

Advance tickets can be purchased for $10 online at www.charlottespeeddemons.com or in person at Inner Peaks Climbing Center (9535 Monroe Rd.), The Last Word (230 East WT Harris Blvd) and all 9Round locations in Charlotte. Tickets are $14 on game day.
