Charlotte Speed Demons vs. Appalachian Rollergirls (WOMEN'S ROLLER DERBY) February 25, 2012

Experience the fastest growing sport in person. For the home season opener, the Charlotte Speed Demons host the Appalachian Rollergirls of Boone.

The Speed Demons are part of the movement to develop roller derby into a professional level sport with an eye on inclusion in the Olympic Games. They are also featured in Derby Baby!, a roller derby film narrated by actress Juliette Lewis and scheduled for a summer release.

Advance tickets can be purchased for $10 online at www.charlottespeeddemons.com or in person at Inner Peaks Climbing Center (9535 Monroe Rd.) and all 9Round locations in Charlotte. Tickets are $14 on game day.
