King and Brandow are musical storytellers and political satirists who sing and write passionately about the extraordinary lives of ordinary people, in the tradition of Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs. Their concerts are a mix of King's own classics as well as covers from some of the finest songwriters around. Charlie has been performing benefits for local non-profits for 30 years. He is the recipient of the War Resisters League's Peacemaker Award, as well as the Sacco-Vanzetti Social Justice Award, nominated for the latter by Pete Seeger, an honor in itself. Opening is local singer, songwriter, and guitarist Joe Reilly.
