Charles Covington, Jr. is recognized as a virtuoso jazz pianist and jazz organist. A professor of music at Howard University, he has performed with such legendary artists as Clark Terry, David "Fathead" Newman, Herbie Hancock, Hank Jones, Shirley Horn, B.B. King, Chuck Berry and others.
