Last June, organizers in 47 cities around the world held charity screenings of the motion picture, SERENITY and raised over $65,000 for Equality Now, a women's rights advocacy group. This June, 50 cities will be participating in this unique world wide event.

The SoCal Browncoats are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Can't Stop the Serenity Charity Screening.

The screening will be held on June 22, 2007 at 10:00 PM. It will be at the same theater as last year, the Laemmle One Colorado in Pasadena. As before, all proceeds from the screening and CSTS sales items will be donated to Equality Now.

Tickets are on sale NOW! Click on the purchase button on our site, www.socalbrowncoats.com. Tickets are $12.50 each.

If you purchase online, you will get an email confirmation and your tickets will be at will call the night of the screening.

CSTS Door Prize Drawing

We are also continuing the tradition and running a special Door
Prize Drawing the night of the screening. Every screening ticket
will come with one (1) entry into the drawing. You can also donate additional money to Equality Now, and to say Thank You, we will give you one (1) additional entry into the drawing for every dollar you donate. You can donate using the button on the site, or at local events along with your screening ticket purchase. We will also be taking donations the night of the event.

The current (and growing) list of prizes is posted on the SoCal Browncoats site.

Come see SERENITY, winner of the 2006 Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film and support a worthy cause at the same time.

About Equality Now

Equality Now was founded in 1992 to work for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women around the world. Working with national human rights organizations and individual activists, Equality Now documents violence and discrimination against women and mobilizes international action to support their efforts to stop these human rights abuses.
