Charity Happy Hour at Play Lounge July 18, 2008

Time to get together for our next happy hour!... let's mix, mingle, network with new and familiar faces, and have some fun... so spread the word, and let's support a great cause!

We'll be benefiting Bike to the Beach for Autism... http://www.biketotheb... ... an organization famous for it's annual "Bike to the Beach" event that raises money and awareness for Autism!... suggested $5 or $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations goes to Bike to the Beach, 20% of donations go to the 20s & 30s Going Out Group to cover meetup fees and expenses.

Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 250 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around. Play is a colorful lounge that includes cube-style ottomans and low banquettes. It's saturated with color from cool mint greens to in-your-face oranges and reds. See www.playloungedc.com.

To help continue the friendly tone of this group... I'd like to again encourage each person to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE at this event. To help do this, for an icebreaker, we'll put your name in a jar as you walk in, and then give you someone else's name from the jar.
