Ypsilanti’s Chapstik is a three guitar attack led by guitarist/vocalist Leighton Mann. Art damaged minds and sarcastic wit collides with demons of doom metal to create an earsplitting sound that rocks tortured souls into oblivion. Sound heavy? It is. Cleveland’s The Suede Brothers wholeheartedly squeeze as much of that ol’ “Rust Belt rock’n’roll” as they can into their sound: low on fashion and crappy filler, big on volume, honesty and hard work—guitar wunderkind Dylan Francis will amaze and awe. Toledo’s The PB Army is possibly one of the most amicable bands in the Midwest. They have a good time playing nerdy stoner pop and hope you like to listen.
