Camino Real Playhouse presents 1890’s style “Chaos at the Cannery”

San Juan Capistrano, CA - San Juan Capistrano’s long established community theatre, The Camino Real Playhouse, presents their annual melodrama just as the Swallows are returning to Capistrano. Yes, it is time to once again Boo the Villain, Cheer for the Hero and sigh for the Heroine in Distress in this live melodrama-style-entertainment suitable for the entire family. Gary McCarver once again does double duty; writing the script and lyrics for “Chaos at the Cannery” and returning on stage as the Villainous Scoundrel Professor Phinneas Mack. “Chaos at the Cannery” opens with a Preview Performance on Friday March 14 at 8:00pm, followed by the Opening Night GALA on March 15 with regular performances through Sunday April 6. Preview Night tickets are $15 with regular performance tickets selling for $19. Opening Night GALA tickets are $30 and include a buffet dinner from Ricardo’s Place Restaurant, a wonderful local restaurant, and the fun of socializing before the play with doors opening at 6:30pm for our 8:00pm performance. Evening Performances are at 8:00pm on Thursdays March 27 and April 3, Fridays March 21, 28 and April 4, Saturdays March 22, 29 and April 5and with Matinees at 2:00pm on Sundays March 16, 23, 30 and April 6.
