Change your Rhythm: A Vermont Reads 2013 Poetry Slam February 8, 2013

The Franklin Grand Isle Bookmobile is hosting a poetry slam at the Cosmic Bakery in St. Albans! The event is focused around this year's Vermont Reads book, Poetry 180: A Turning Back to Poetry. Community members are welcome to attend and perform original works or poems from Poetry 180. The slam is themed around the phrase "Change Your Rhythm," which means that we would like participants to perform poems with themes of change, poems that have a particularly powerful rhythm, have to do with rhythm as a theme, or some combination of all three!
