Subtle energy, the invisible aspect of our being, is an integral part of our every day experience, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. The condition of our energy anatomy directly influences us on many levels: physical, mental, emotional. When our energy fields are clear and strong, we enjoy a physically vibrant body; quietness of mind; and emotional balance / calmness in stressful situations. When the energy field is compromised or depleted, these qualities are impaired, possibly contributing to burnout, job dissatisfaction and personal illness.
Liza Burney of Heart to Heart Healing, offers an in-depth Introduction to Energy Healing on May 26, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the National College of Natural Medicine, 049 SW Porter Str., Portland OR 97201. Held in room 321. This workshop provides foundational information about our energy anatomy, the energetic assessment process, and how to perform the “first aid” technique. Participants practice a technique to assess their subtle energy levels, allowing them to be more consciously aware of when changes take place. We then learn simple techniques for clearing unwanted energy from our energy anatomy, allowing it to return to a strong, vibrant state.

This introductory class is designed for those who are interested in learning how to develop their skills to assist the healing process for themselves, their family, friends, and pets. This class provides participants with the tools to treat common first aid ailments such as cuts, scrapes and burns, as well as provides a foundation for general self-healing.

Pranic Healing is a no-touch healing technique that offers specific, tested, step-by-step procedures for treating ailments and preventing illness. It complements Western medicine as well as other healing modalities. Pranic Healing can help people heal from physical ailments (both chronic and acute) as well as help in balancing the emotional and psychological aspects of a person’s wellbeing, which can help reduce stress, phobias and alleviate addictions. Pranic Healing has now been taught and practiced in more than 150 countries, from the cancer hospitals in India to Kaiser Medical Center in Los Angeles and Portland.

Participants leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of themselves as instruments of healing; of their role in improving their personal energy level, as well as transforming their mood and happiness level. The workshop’s interactive and experiential format provides enough supervised practice time for each participant to develop confidence so they can continue to evaluate their energy fields and perform these techniques once they return home.
