Everyone is
talking about change communication at the moment but what is it exactly and how
does it differ from regular communication?
Are there any special skills or knowledge that you need to support your
organisation at the moment?

This
workshop explores the essential theory that every communicator needs to
understand and the role that a communicator can play at a time of change. In particular we look at what a communicator
can do to add real value and ensure the success of change.

The agenda
covers:

What is change communication?
The theory everyone quotes
The change curve (and its limitations)
Setting clear objectives
Understanding the audience
Tools and techniques that work and some that
dont.

The one-day
session is designed to promote discussion and problem solving. It is aimed at people new to change
communication who want to get a simple grounding in the theory behind it and
some of the approaches that get results.

About Liam FitzPatrick

Liam
FitzPatrick is one of the most experienced workshop leaders for internal
communications in Europe. Managing
Director of simplygoodadvice, he has
trained hundreds of communicators through in-house and public courses.

He works
with Universities and the UKs Chartered Institute of Public Relations on
training issues and is one of the co-authors of the definitive competency
models for internal communicators.

His
knowledge comes from his many years of practical work in the area, working as
both a consultant and a senior in-house manager leading communications teams.
