Kasba Aarghya presents 'Chandrabati' - Play. Based on an oral Epic of Bangladesh viz Maimansingha Geetika. Chandrabati is one of the most popular Ballad . The Pala or Ballad, written in the 16th to 18th centuries, forms an important folk genre. Some of the most well known ballads of Bengal are the Maimansingha Geetika and Purba Banga Geetika. The political, social, economical, religious and cultural history of Bengal is found in these Ballads.
