Chance: An Evening for the Fashion Industry September 10, 2009

Active Entertainment in association with Heaven Nightclub and Gobo Foto of Seattle Fashion Week will be hosting Chance: An Evening for the Fashion Industry, September 10th, 2009. Chance is an evening geared towards networking resources within the fashion industry, and is chaulked full of opportunity

Each month, we bring down designers, models, photographers, hair/make up artists, as well as body painters to provide not only a quality show, but create a prime networking opportunity for the industry. At least two new fashion designers will be showcased on the runway. The Artifakt body painting crew will also available to paint models interested in the headlining runway showcase of the night. Not only does Chance provide opportunities for individuals within the fashion industry, but it also hosts a great show for guests who are interested in coming down just to have a good time. Eric Nelson will also be spinning dance mash ups throughout the night.

General Admission is $7, but models/designers/hair-make up artists interested in participating in the event can RSVP for Free Admission. Without RSVP, Models who register at the front door to make use of the hair/make up artists and photographers will be charged a $5 admission fee.

FASHION DESIGNERS: Have the opportunity to gain runway exposure as well as work with new models each month to gather pictures for promotional marketing and resources for business endeavors.

MODELS: Have the opportunity to have their hair and make up done for free, and work with multiple photographers to gather portfolio photos, as well as network with designers to be considered for future gigs and runway shows. Models interested in participating in the runway showcase the following month can also participate in the casting call during the first hour of the night. HAIR/MAKE UP ARTISTS: Have the opportunity to work with models and designers to be able to book future work, as well as gather photographs from multiple photographers to be used for portfolio purposes. Models interested in making use of the photographers are recommended to bring multiple outfits to maximize the use of the photogographers.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Have the opportunity to work with an abundance of models in one night, as well as network with designers, hair/make up artists, and other photographers.

HAIR/MAKE UP ARTISTS: Have the opportunity to work with an abundance of models to gather portfolio shots, as well as build up references for future work. They will also be announced and showcased during the runway portion of the night, and will receive all the photos of the models they worked with during the event for portfolio and promotional purposes.
