More than just a star of the museum and gallery scene, Mark Chagall was the main attraction in the world of opera and dance as well. He was also sought by major arts organizations for public commissions, including the massive paintings at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. Cultural historian Charles A. Riley II, Ph,D, is the author of the official book on the art collection of Lincoln Center. He will share some backstage secrets about Chagall and the world of the performing arts.
