For over 25 years Impro Melbourne has provided world-class improvised comedy for audiences during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. By pairing Australia’s most well-known celebrities with Impro Melbourne’s finest players, Celebrity Theatresports™ continues to delight audiences every festival season, and 2012 promises to be bigger and better! From 7:30pm on Saturday the 14 April, The National Theatre in St Kilda again plays host to this hot ticket event: it ain’t rocket science... it’s just good laughs!

Every year Celebrity Theatresports™ pits Australia’s favourite celebrities against each other in a no-holds-barred cage match of improvised comedy that would make even Arnold Schwarzenegger cry. The action is as fast as it is furious! Like the year Cal Wilson leapt into a pit of fire... or when Julia Zemiro scuba dived in a shark tank... or like the time Zoe Ventoura jumped a Morris Mini over 17 buses. THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING!

Set in the historic confines of St Kilda’s National Theatre, Celebrity Theatresports™ also includes some of Impro Melbourne’s top international players, like Jason Geary (National Theatresports™ Champion 2010), Patti Stiles (International ‘Queen of Impro’ and National Theatresports™ Champion 2010), Lliam Amor (National Theatresports™ Champion 2009) and Rama Nicholas (National Theatresports™ Champion 2009) to name but a few.
