Celebration of Christmas Concert December 14, 2008

Christmas Concert Planned for Historic Church

The Celebration of Christmas Concert will be presented in the Sanctuary of
the First Congregational Church of Fresno, December 14, at 5:00 PM.
Come listen to the sounds of the season as the Chancel Choir, and Handbell Choir join with pianists Jane Maldonado, Linda Berg, Gina Fazio; Emily Greenberg, cellist; and Anne Rempel on oboe perform in this annual concert. Violinist, John Morrice and Scott Horton, organist and music director of FCCF will also be featured performers. Selections will include musical styles from Appalachian to Basque, and time periods ranging from the Renaissance to Contemporary.
First Congregational Church is located at 2131 N. Van Ness Blvd. (south of
Clinton) in Fresno. Admission free. A free will offering will be taken to
benefit the Casavant Pipe Organ Restoration Fund.
