This exhibition is the Indiana State Museum's annual celebration of the holiday season. The museum will be decked from top to bottom with holiday decorations and children's activities. Children of all ages will enjoy riding on the re-created Santa Claus Express. The original train that thrilled generations of Hoosiers in the downtown L.S. Ayres department store has been retired, but it is available for photo opportunities in the museum's Governor Frank O'Bannon Great Hall. The new train combines the design and nostalgia of the original with today's modern technology to make sure it will be running for many years to come. Decorations on each of the museum's three levels complete the holiday feel, including the L.S. Ayres store window display on the museum's second level. Just outside of Celebration Crossing, children will be able to make crafts to take home, including their own train tickets or frames for their photos with Santa.
