Celebrating the Canadian Short Story - with Jane Urquhart

Award-winning author Jane Urquhart hosts an evening with David Bezmozgis, Dennis Bock, Wayson Choy, Austin Clarke, Sheila Heti, Barbara Gowdy, Leon Rooke and Michael Winter, reading from their short fiction which appears in The Penguin Book of Canadian Short Stories, a new anthology edited by Jane Urquhart.

Jane Urquhart is the award-winning author of poetry, short stories and several novels. Her novel Away was the winner of the Trillium Book Award, The Stone Carvers was a finalist for the Giller Prize and the Governor General’s Literary Award and longlisted for the Booker Prize. Her most recent novel, A Map of Glass, was a finalist for a regional Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best Book.
