Celebrating Nunavut: Inuit Art from the Canadian Arctic March 29, 2009

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School will host an exhibition of twenty-five Inuit prints and textile art by Inuit artists from the arctic communities of Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Qamanittuaq (Baker Lake) and Pangnirtung in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Nunavut in the Kreeger Gallery. Through their work artists record historical events, traditional camp life, and the many changes that have taken place in the life of Inuit over the past several generations.

Exhibit will be open for viewing weekdays during regular school hours.
