Pianists Inna Faliks, Tanya Gabrielian, and Emma Tahmiziàn celebrate rare and magnificent piano music of Franz Liszt. The program includes Prelude and Fugue for Organ in A Minor (Bach-Liszt), Waltz from Faust (Gounod-Liszt), Orpheus (from Symphonic Poems), Transcendental Etudes: Numbers 10 and 9, Maiden’s Wish (Chopin-Liszt), La Campanella, Prometheus (from Symphonic Poems), Apres une Lecture de Dante -Fantasia quasi Sonata, and Les Preludes (from Symphonic Poems).

Emma Tahmiziàn, a Bulgarian pianist of Armenian descent launched her international career after wining the grand prize at the 1977 Robert Schumann International Competition and went on to win prizes in the Tchaikovsky, Leeds, Van Cliburn, Montreal and Pro Musicis competitions.
