Classic concert performance by the Moody Blues in 1970 at the height of their ascendancy as symphonic-rock pioneers. Includes all their key hits, including “Nights in White Satin,” “Tuesday Afternoon,” “Question,” “Ride My See Saw,” plus interviews that reflect on the band's 45-year history from their R&B roots (“Go Now”) in 1965 onwards.

MELLODRAMA: THE MELLOTRON MOVIE, 2010, Bazillion Points, 75 min. Dir. Dianna Dilworth. Moody Blues keyboard player Mike Pinder introduced the Beatles to the Mellotron; they used it on Sgt. Pepper and from there it became the definitive prog-rock instrument. This doc chronicles the fascinating history and features Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Mike Pinder (Moody Blues), Rod Argent (The Zombies), Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Ian McDonald (King Crimson) and members of Maroon 5, Big Elf and Yes.
