Celebrate the New Year at Westfield Fox Valley with Free Westfield Family Fun Days January 25, 2012

The New Year is a time filled with traditions. Join Westfield Fox Valley and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days featuring “Cultural Traditions” - explore how other cultures celebrate the New Year and hear classic folktales from around the world.

January 25 will feature classic folktales with “Tikki Tikki Tembo” by Arlene Mosel and Blair Lent. If you don’t already know Tikki Tikki Tembo-no sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo -- you certainly will soon. The second book, “May I Bring a Friend?” by Beatrice de Regniers and Beni Montresor, is a Caldecott-winning children’s book exploring the tradition of English tea. Children will enjoy a fun snack, and create cups to take home.
