Celebrate the Holiday Season and The Venice Art Crawl at Figtree’s Café December 15, 2011

Come celebrate the holidays at the Venice Art Crawl. Figtree's Cafe has planned a wonderful event this Thursday from 6:30 pm till 9:00 pm. The Venice Art Crawl is a monthly art event which takes place every third Thursday of each month in Venice.

Figtree’s Café has been participating in the crawl since its inception. Figtree's Cafe is known for their healthy delicious food, located right on the Venice boardwalk at 429 Ocean Front Walk Venice, at Paloma Ave, two blocks south of Rose. It's a great place to start the Crawl.

This Thursday, December 15th, Figtree’s Café presents a group show featuring three artists/photographers. Ana M.Amortegui, photographer, is excited to show her photos at Figtree’s. Ana is originally from Columbia, moved to the U.S. four years ago. She currently works in the film industry. Peter Padmapuzzo Thompson, originally from NYC will also be featured. Peter is an llustrator and portrait artist. Another photographer, Frederico Verardi, will be showing his timeless photography. Frederico is currently working as a cinematographer. He was born in a small town near, Tuscany, Italy, and has lived all over the world.

Complimentary wine and appetizers will be served. If you want to have dinner, you’ll receive 10% off (on food only) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. There is also a great happy hour (till 7:00 pm) and drink specials too.

Located at 429 Ocean Front Walk, Figtree’s Café is steps from the beach. It has been a part of this Venice neighborhood for over 30 years. With a wrap around outdoor patio area, it’s a fabulous place to people watch. Tourists and locals can enjoy a romantic brunch while soaking up the sun along with gorgeous views of Venice Beach. For a more intimate setting, cozy seating inside is available with always ever changing art on the walls. A wonderful place to have a warm cup of joe during the winter months.
