Celebrate New Year's Eve with Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino's Denim and Diamond Celebration December 31, 2011

(Maricopa, Ariz.) – Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort will begin ringing in 2012 with FREE entertainment and “Denim & Diamonds” New Year’s Eve celebration on Saturday, Dec. 31. Guests are invited to stay, play and enjoy the performances as the countdown to 2012 begins.

At noon on Saturday, Dec. 31 the “Denim & Diamonds” New Year’s Eve festivities begin. “Hot seats” will be chosen every 10 minutes until 7 p.m., where one lucky Total Rewards member could win big and the famous Harrah’s Ak-Chin Buffet will be featuring special holiday fare. The evening will ramp up as The Family Stone Project (consisting of Jerry Martini and Cynthia Robin, original founding members of Sly & The Family Stone and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees) perform at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and again at midnight, when a balloon drop will ring in the New Year.
