Celebrate MLK Day…A Day On, Not A Day Off January 19, 2009

Join us Monday, January 19th for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and celebrate YOU!! We’ll do activities that showcase each individual’s uniqueness and how when we come together, the whole is even more AMAZING. We will have a multitude of activities like creating a handmade piece and adding everyone’s together to create a new art mosaic for The Wild Place and bringing in small mementos from family trips to add to a Museum display that we will create. This and much more will be taking place at the event. Also during this event you can do some good for those who may be less fortunate, bring in new or slightly used mittens to donate to a child and know that you are helping those who truly need it. This event is free with admission cost for the Museum.
