Visit the zoo's Asian elephants, including Shanthi, who was given to the zoo in 1975 by the children of Sri Lanka. Outside the elephant house, chat with zoo scientists about this work to save this endangered species, enjoy Sri Lankan dancing, storytelling, handicraft displays and take part in other family-friendly activities.
